Wanted: Distributor Dust Cap Shield

Hi, looking to see if anyone has a dust cap shield that goes under the distributor cap protecting the points and condenser for a 70 442 coupe.

You may be right, I have been wrong in the past - my wife does remind me of this all the time.

Thanks, there is one on the other "site" but expensive as it is a nos part.

It IS definitely for interference, and a worthless thing. This is coming from one of the fussiest guys on here. You can't see it, it makes changing or working on the points difficult. Worse still it does nothing. They were originally put on the cars because of the change to windshield antennas and were gone within a few years. It does not protect the points. Your time + $ would be better spent buying a dist cam lubricator. That's the little foam donut/wick that goes in the small plastic holder that inserts in the advance place.

Thanks for the info, I can see your point about not seeing it and such. I guess I'll pass on it now.
