Looking for the passenger side hood hinge for a 68 Cutlass S. I believe late model hinge. 2 bolt holes to fender, 3 bolt holes to hood. Spring is 1 5/8" diameter 19+ coils.
Car manufacture date 05D = built fourth week (D) of May (05), 1968

Or a good set of both hinges with springs.

The upper pivot point hole on the arm of mine broke, so it probably cannot be repaired.

 

One 68 passenger side hinge and spring make me an offer I cannot refuse with the shipping cost and it is yours...

 

It looks close. But there is only 2 mounting holes to the hood. Here is my hinge.

Maybe. But with only 2 mounts, and older movements, I will worry about stress on the hood points. And it would not match the other side. But I am just using it as a daily driver, not a show car.

Maybe someone has the matching hinge (that's not broken).

 

You might look up one of the hood hinge rebuilders. Perhaps yours could be fixed, or they would have a good core to rebuild for your car.

***** also stated one year only hinge. He does not have exchange hinges, but he has the replacement link and can repair mine. Clean, align if bent, replace all rivets, replace link, paint and lubricate for estimate $255 + shipping 7-14 days.
