Wanted>64-72 cutlass rear backing plates
I need a set of nice 64-72 Cutlass OEM R&L rear axle brake backing plates. I need them to be pit free if there is such a thing. I don't need the gold plated units either.
Best to email me @ pchopesq@aol.com
Thanks
Mike

Backing Plates
Mike:
If you need the 11" plates, good luck. If you want basic 9 1/2" plates, you can buy them new for less than $80.00 each from several sources. I am changing my rears to 11" drums in a few weeks as part of the major restoration we are doing to my 66 Cutlass. I will have complete plates w/ all good brake hardware and wheel cylinders that have been blasted and painted, they worked fine when we started the project a couple years ago. The price will be very affordable. If this works for you, let me know. If you need them sooner, I am sure one of the CO members will come to your rescue. (2blu442,lemoldsnut,oldspackrat,trublu442,ferndale flyer) these guys have all been a big help in my project and are great guys to deal with.
Thanks, Ron
