Need left and right front bumper stripes for 83 Hurst...Anyone got some laying around they want to part with ?

Have you checked with Stencils and Stripes? They have some individual decals call:

Take some orange paint and red paint and mix it until it looks the right shade and spray it. Then you take silver and black pinstriping tape and install it on each side of the orange. Works as a last resort but looks right. I used Allis Chalmers orange and Farmall red as that was what I had on the shelf.

 

I had some made at our local sign printing shop he measured them and matched the color and you can't tell the differance. ours did a great job .

 

Yeah,,i'm going that route now....I did end up finding some from Phoenix...I bought them,,but wouldn't install them on my car...The color ( red ) isn't the same and the silver section is wider the than original...They don't look as good as the 33 yr old ones that are on the car.
