Wanted: 1973 Delta 88 front bumper "rubber trim"!

Hey all! I'm looking for help finding the infamous front bumper "rubber trim" that goes on the front of a '73 Delta 88 bumper!!!! I've searched high and low for this strip/piece... from Ebay to Google!! Could it be, that I'm looking for a "Great White Buffalo" something that's rare or doesn't exist anymore? Any and every helpful insite would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!!!

Here's the original part number.

Group 7.831, p/n 412129, insert, 1973 B&C with VE5 option

B= Delta 88 and Royale
C= Ninety Eight
VE5= rubber bumper strips

Did you try the trick I told you to get the rub strip off the old bumper? Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Thanks for replying. It's not in the BEST condition but if I can't find new, or better shape ones, may have to. Do I have to remove the bumper to remove it??

Yes. Bumper and reinforcement bar has to come off the bumper shock absorbers, then you have to go in thru the back of the rebar to access the rub strip and chrome face bar attaching nuts.

Soak the studs and nuts with penetrating oil for a couple days and then use an impact wrench on low to medium setting to (hopefully) break them loose.
