Wanted: 1972 Cutlass Dash/cowl Piece

Hello All,

I'm in need of a dash piece to fix up my windshield on my cutlass. Can't get a new windshield installed until i weld in a good solid piece of metal. (Right up to where the vent holes are)

Please anyone let me know if you have any leads. Also, please see my thread for pictures and information.

Thanks!

Tony, I have that piece. I can cut it down for shipping, price would be $150.00 for the top dash with top cowl. It has a small rust hole behind the right wiper arm area, smaller then a dime. The rest is solid with some very minor pitting by that same area. I wasn't able to upload photos here. I can them to your email address. Joe

Hey all,

thanks for the replies! Joe I sent you a pm with my email.

I'm looking for a nice clean and solid piece. The elements up here seem to have rotted my current dash to almost nothing..

Here is an example of what i need.

Hey Eric,

Thanks for the reply and checking for the piece! I heard from Joe earlier in this post and he has one that looks pretty good, i will let you know what happens and see if he can cut out what i need.

Hey All,

Thanks for the support, I bought the cowl/dash piece off Joe at AzChevs, it looks to be pretty solid and i look forward to welding it in.

Side question, does anyone know the proper colour of the dash/cowl? My dash seems to be a sort of burnt brown colour, and the colour of my current Cowl is Rust. Heh
