'68 and '69 are the same and both work for your car. A '68 jack is identified in the cradle by a simple "68" stamped into it. A jack from a '69 has "68-69" stamped into the cradle. And the jack unit has a date stamped into it as well. It's on the slide (piece that goes up and down on the jack shaft). It's identifed by a number and a letter (i.e., 8E would mean 1968-May) on one of the rivet heads, with A = January and M = December (I is skipped because it looks too much like a 1).
