Looking for a radiator 3-4 core top plate for a 1968 442. At the very least pictures of one as I think I have a 69-70 plate and my radiator sits slanted. Thanks matt

this is a 68 four core. (I stole the pic from B-J because I’m too lazy to walk out to my garage). FWIW you can convert a 67 top plate to a 68 four core pretty easily by modifying the saddles and adding a hole here and a notch there....

mine looks just like that yet my radiator tilts really bad towards the engine. Seems it is way to wide.
It sounds to me like you may have one from a full size car. I've never compared them to the A-body one, but it's a possibility.
are they different other than the saddles for the radiator? I did change mine out with one that was given to me as the original was rotted. Here is a upper profile it looks the same with no longer width.?

Can you share a photos with us of how much it leans? This sounds familiar, I think there's an old thread discussing this topic but I'm not finding it right now. How far away from the radiator is the fan?

it seems to lean 2 full inches back, hope you can see this in the pictures. Seems a top plate that would be shorter would put it perfect but then I’d be missing the 4 row saddles.
Maybe the bottom saddles are not correct because the top spacing looks right. Did you add a four row rad to a three row rad support? The bottom of the rad should be almost at the back of the rad support and then there are brackets welded to the rad support for the bottom tabs of the shroud to slip into and bolt down. We have been here before and 2blue442 showed us pictures of four row rad support bottoms.

Reason: Forgot something!
That black rubber piece you have lying on the rad support fills the gap. The plastic clip for your harness is in the spot where the rubber flap clips in.
You guys are correct. I always had the top plate with the car but I did reporpose a 2-3 core and replaced the bottom with 4 core saddles maybe that’s the issue. Maybe it’s wider down on the bottom and has those brackets? Mine does not have those. Also I found a post on here of two types of 4 row top plates plus they make a 4 row 69-72 top plate that works I guess. Here are pictures of the lower area, maybe I’ll cut the lower holes out and find or make those bracket and relocate the saddles but I just don’t see the room for it.?
Yah I see I put that wire harness clip in the wrong spot. I got to pay more attention to the build book.🤔
I guess I’m over thinking this as this topic was brought up in 2016 in the general topics and every one said this looked correct...? Looks same as mine radiator tilts I guess though this was for a 72 I guess.
