motor is in a Datsun 280z with BOP th400 trans so not a lot of room on exhaust manifolds...

 

Olds didnt make a 430, are you sure its an Olds.

 

Buick made a 430, but if your not sure would you please take a couple pictures and post them here? Then we can help point you in the right direction.

 

I think Cadillac made a "430" also.

 

So did Ford, if that counts.

 

Or fat fingers made a 403 into a 430

You might want to see what hood clearance you have, as I believe all aftermarket intakes are taller than stock.

I would think a Edelbrock OL4D, performer, pr performer rpm, all vary in height, shortest to tallest, not sure on other manufacturers, like offenhauser would fit

Not all of them are - the small block Performer 350 is the same height as the factory intake.
