Unaltered front springs for 1968 442 (Bought New)
As the title suggests, I'm looking for a good set of unaltered (not cut down or heated and collapsed) front springs for a 1968 4-4-2.
Thanks,
Dave
Disregard, I broke down and bought a new set!!!

Are you looking for 47 year old oem springs? If so, does the vehicle have a/c?
Are your springs "altered" and that's why you want originals?
I'm sorry for all the questions; but, it would help to know what you're trying to achieve. Thanks, Bob.
I may also have the jack in the post above.

LOL
Thanks Bob.
Car originally had A/C but for some reason during resto-mod (can't call it restoration) was removed. I am reinstalling that too.
I noticed the stance looked good but also noticed the headers have taken quite a pounding. While I was underneath last weekend I noticed some aluminum twist in spring spacers. So, my guess is the original springs were either cut down or heated and compressed to get a lower stance. And since there are twist-in spacers, they must have gone too far in the lowering.
So, my intention is getting it back to the proper height and ride. I have new shocks to install but I suspect the biggest issue is the altered springs.
Thanks Bob.

How much lowered did you get and do you have before & after pics you can share? I just placed an order for 1" lowered springs. Hope that will give me the right height and the ride sure should be better.
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!
