Tire wells: replace or fix?

Anyone knows where I can get two tire wells for my 69 delta 88. I notice I have two holes in my left front and left rear tire wells. I am considering paying a welder to but a couple of beads in a piece of sheet metal to cover the holes and later I will spray on some rust encapsulator. Is this the right approach to resolving this issue?

Best thing would be to wirebrush it all to see if there is anymore rust or holes. If not, then your plan is good - patch up the holes, seal, then use RE and chassis paint, then some spray-on undercoating (if desired).
I would not replace those unless very rotted out. or there are holes in hard to patch areas.

Thank you for reassuring me the correct steps to fix the repair. “Believe when I say…I enjoy this site”.
