My restoration shop and engine guy's have had no luck in finding one .
I need a new Thermal Fan Clutch for a totally stock , 1967 442 , 400 E ,

Nice...

Joesw31 , Thank you for the lead .
Looks perfect . Is that a decent price ? Or do you think something like that
would be negotiable ?
Sorry to be such a neophyte , I usually have some experienced ebay friends do my purchasing for me ...... The vintage parts market seems to be it's own unique arena ..

If an aftermarket replacement is good for you, then Rockauto has several brands to choose from between 20-50 bucks...

Check with Super Cars Unlimited I believe they carry your clutch, I found they carried the one for my 65 after I shelled out $200 for a NOS one.

i would be leery of a nos fan clutch of that vintage. there is silicone fluid inside, and a rubber seal on the shaft. i have nos delco fan clutches that are not exactly identical, but will fit and function fine. they are a split between regular duty and heavy duty hayden fan clutches. i use 1 on ernie with a 7 blade fan with zero issues. and, they're of recent manufacture. and they're much less than that ebay clutch.

I would also strongly recommend supercars unlimited. Greg is a great source for parts and knowledge. He has been in the parts business for years and Olds exclusively for over 25 years.
