Wheel Clarification?

I believe the proper SSII wheels for a 68 cutlass Restoration would be 14'' not 15.

Also, I think they will have "built in'' "D'' trim rings instead of the rattling ones with the metal tabs.

Here's some pictures. Yours should look the gray/black ones. The Maroon ones were 1970 and up If I am correct.

Is your heart set on 15'' ?
I have a set of 14''ers in my garage, and that first picture is one of them.

ssII rims size

Hey, Thanks for the greetings! I know the original ones were 14", Ihave 15 chevy rims with new rubber so hence the 15" request. And I like the type II better than the type I or III as far as looks. Shipping - I will pay shipping to theMinneapolis area of Minnesta. Aain, tax time wil put t cashin mypocket but if someone has rims available I would be open to making a deposit.
Thanks!

14" wheels

Hey (J),
what will you take for your 14" wheels? Are they complete with rings and caps? What do you think it would cost to have them shipped to the Houston area?

thanks,
G.

Well, the wheels were donated to our website here, so I will not charge you much.
I spent an hour driving in the snow and 3 gallons of gas to pick them up, so make me an offer on the labor.
I'm not sure about shipping. The tires are off of the rims, so that makes life easy.
Perhaps we can use an ebay auction for a rough ballpark figure.

I have 3 centercaps and bolts, and 3 beauty rings, but they are pretty worthless. You'd be better off ordering some new ones.
