so you need the stem and the mounting plate and hardware? can you source a pic or show yours to see whats missing?

 

There's a hole in my door panel I got nothing to show. It's the square chrome piece with the control **** and cable need it all all I have is the mirror

The joystick/**** screws into a pot metal piece that encases the control cables for the mirror. It might be possible that someone removed the rectangular escutcheon(plate) & the **** part fell back into the door out of sight. You might pull your door panel & take a look inside to find out? I and I'm sure several others have the escutcheon & all the associated parts.
