Does anyone have or know of a place that make/sells a short oil filler for an Olds 455. I like the billet piece that FCR performance sells, but it's not available now. I'm going for a sleeker look and don't particularly care for the taller original piece. Also, if you have any other suggestions, I'm all ears.

 

I was ay Auto Zone today, to buy some PF24, they had none. I look in their book, and it called for a 454 number, and when I looked at it,it is shorter than the PF24.

 

On one of mine I cut the top off and then shortened the tube and then rewelded the top back on....Worked for me

 

Bobsw32, that's a good idea and I may end up having to do something like that but I really don't have access to a welder and my welding skills are lacking. I was hoping that I could just purchase one and be done with it.

442Harv, when I type that part number in on the AutoZone web site it shows an oil filter not the filler tube.
