Seeking 1970 quadrajet for 455 cid - 7040251

Hey guys,

I'm replacing an Edelbrock Perfomer intake manifold with a reproduction W30 manifold. Therefore, I'd like to use a Rochester quadrajet 7040251.

Anyone have one available?

Hi stetzie,

Glad you asked; I'm looking to sell it. It came off my SX and has been cleaned up a bit.

I can send you pictures and more details in an email. If interested contact me (Mike) at : stlbluesbrother@yahoo.com

I have 7040250. I know that's not what you want, but I would make you a good deal on it if you would be interested. Ron.

Well I bought a 72 442 with the Quarajet on it. The car ran really good when it warmed up.
Someone took off the butterfly for the choke and cold starts were not what I liked.
So I bought a new Edelbrock carb with automatic choke and cold starts are better.
The Quadrajet was a rebuild, the tag is still on the carb.
So I'd like to get $75.00, Let me know if you are interested. I live about 30 miles north of Milwaukee or I could send if need be. Thanks Ron.

I'm looking for a quadrajet for a 1969 455, my original is so warped it is not rebuildable. Anyone have a used core or a reasonable rebuilt working unit. Im not concerned with specific numbers matching as it is not in the original vehicle just one that will get me on the road, motor is all stock except for a mild cam large valve "C" heads.
