Does anybody have original rugs, floor mats for 62 Starfire that they would be interested in selling. Also looking for Rocker Stainless both sides . Starfirerestore@aol.com

 

Are all '62 full size rocker stainless the same? I have a NICE set - but they came off a '62 88 4-door.

 

You can buy original style floor mats for your Olds from Fusick. Unfortunately, they only come in black vinyl.

 

1961-65 Starfires have color-coordinated vinyl mats with stainless trim sewn into the front and rear carpets. No one to my knowledge is reproducing them in any color.

If he has decent inserts and a good stitcher, transferring them to a new carpet set is about the only option.

For years I thought only Starfires and some Cadillacs had this neat interior styling trick, then I find this

The instruction sheet looks definitely Buick to me, and I expect they'd work in any early 60s GM car.

 

Yes stiching them back into new carpets it what I have been doing. As far as what the other guy said about Fusick making them in black,and if they do, do they have the bars that go accross them? I can make them any color to fit my application. Its just locating them is the problem. Thanks for the response everybody. Keep me in mind if you see any .
