Question Oldsmobile engine mount frame pads for G body Cutlass

Hey guys,

I am looking for a pair of frame pads used to install a small block Olds into a G body.

I am trying to swap an Olds 350 into my 79 Cutlass but am having real trouble finding the correct frame pads. I was given a set of the "3 bolt" frame pads but I suspect those are from an A body and don't line up at all. The ones I need look like the picture in the attachment.

Shipping would be to Ontario, Canada, postal code M3B 3J5.
Thanks in advance!

Line up the top bolt and drill the bottom to line up???
Or bolt the pads onto the engine set in place and MARK the holes with paint lift the engine and DRILL where needed.???

The three bolt pads don't work on the G-body cars. The two bolt pads are the same on 1977-1987 A/G body cars and on the 1977-1990 RWD B/C-body cars. That may open your search up considerably. The 307 was used in all the B-body wagons in the second half of the 1980s, so check Caprices and Roadmasters as well as Oldsmobiles. Note that the two bolt pads are RH/LH, unlike the three bolt pads that are symmetric.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the information, that will widen up my junkyard search quite a bit.

Toymobile - I was pondering going that route but figured I would check around for the proper pads first.

Thanks again!
