I'm in need of old junk carriers, gearsets, and spider gears. Preferrably 3.55-5.13 gearsets and 8.5" open carriers.

If you have some old crappy ones with chipped spider gears or something, let me know.

 

not that I have any said items but would my guess that you want these for cores be correct.

 

Nicer parts I'll use for cores, and rusty/damaged ones I can weld up for the local track's demolition derby team.

For example, today I recieved a nice open carrier from a 74 delta 88. The guy converted to a posi carrier, and was going to throw away the old one. I don't want to see it in the scrap pile. After all, America already spent the labor , resources and energy to make it. Turning it into melted steel seems like a waste. I'll keep that one around in case someone needs it.

I also have a ford 8.8 carrier that has chipped up spider gears, an odd wear pattern in the gearset, and makes a little bit of noise.
That one I'll weld the junk spider gears to the basket, and stuff in a derby car.

 

I like to run these old shoes until the soles are gone.
