new OEM units are pricey

I have a few used ones
Would need to know the number on your indicator in order to provide a correct part.

Hmmmm
maybe
they tend to get damaged in extraction
yesterday I went to the local yard and pulled two with my slide hammer
Made a movie but alas that ONE tube came loose but refused to allow the bulges past the xst manifold so I had to give up on it. So, one broke off at the block and another came out partway, and the third came out but upon close examination at home, to record where the F and A marks should be, we see that it got cracked at the large bulge.

If you can buy a new one you should do that. Used parts always have imperfections.
I'd have to get like 20 for a good used one, mainly for my time to find, inspect, straighten, verify it suits your indicator, package, get it to the post office.

I did record that for a known matched set, in this case from a 1985 or so RWD 307, measuring down along the line of the tube and indicator, with zero or the "index" being the surface where the block and the lower face of the larger upper tube bulge meet...

F is at 5.8"

A is at 6.6"

A difference of 0.8"

This is a 22511032 common mid-80's V8 indicator mating a tube measuring 12.0" from index surface [bottom of larger bulge] to upper end of tube.

The guide tube you need to match up with your indicator (401567) is part number 401568.... I have six or more of these available.... PM me if you haven't found a used one and are interested in NOS....

PN database says

401568: Guide, Oil Dip Stick, Short, 350
Top of tube to stop collar = 10"
Stop collar to bottom of tube = 5.25"
Total Overall length = 15.25"

and there you go, buy a nice new one from the above providor.

Thanks for the data backup.... Not trying to step on a sale for you.... Just making an alternative offer... And as you said... NOS/OEM is pricey and there is much to be said for good used OEM parts......
