Smile New to this Forum - Looking for an intake/carb

I'm new to this forum and was referred by the OCA. Looking for a nice used 1971 350 intake and Rochester 4-barrel carb with linkage for a very original 71 Cutlass Supreme that was my late mother's car. It has 44,000 miles and it was ordered with the 4-barrel delete for a credit (has 2 bbl). If anyone has these parts please let me know. Thanks!

You may want to add a location. Shipping an intake will be expensive. Better to try and get one locally

The L65 2bbl motor was a $33.70 credit, to be exact. Of course, swapping the intake and carb means that the car will no longer be "very original". Keep in mind that to be "correct" you will need the air cleaner, choke tubes, and the correct 4bbl accelerator cable.

I don't want to hi-jack OP thread, but.
I did this exact swap on my 72, I replaced everything except for the accelerator cable. is there a difference from 2bbl and 4bbl cables?
works fine with the original 2bbl cable as far as I can tell.

Thanks so much, Gary! I am an original fanatic (I have 5 - C3 Corvettes that are all original big-block, 4-speed low mileage cars). This car is special for so many sentimental reasons - but it will never be sold or leave the family "tree" - so changing this one set aspect of the drivetrain makes sense to me for better performance and drivability. I also added an El Camino console to the car (can be removed) for more convenience driving with a drink!). I appreciate your info and tips - your motor compartment looks amazing!

Thanks
I've owned my car for 35 years, bought it from my cousin who owned it for about 5 years before that.
I started restoring it maybe 12 years ago. I have picked up parts over the years, my car will never be a show car, but I wanted to make it look as correct as possible.
I added duel exhaust and have an anti-slip and 3.42 gears that will get installed at some point.
still need to do the quarters and paint, when it is done, I will be able to say I did it all myself.
Good luck with your upgrade and everyone on here loves lots of picture.

Bear in mind that that a 4 barrel carb swap will help a little, but will not turn it into a pavement shredder on its own. It's got to WANT that extra fuel. All of these are bolt on parts, but a slightly more aggressive cam with a modern grind, dual exhausts, and a lower rear end ratio would make it more powerful, in addition to the carb.

Looking for an intake/carb

Welcome to the forum! I have numerous oem carbs and intakes. As mentioned above, your location will help. If interested, email me direct: drolds1@bellsouth.net. Thanks, Bob.

Thanks! The original 2 bbl needs a rebuild and I think just going to the punch of secondaries and a better performing carb will do the trick!
