Needed used Dual plane intake for short deck 350
I have an Olds 350 in my 79HO. I'm looking for a used dual plane intake for 1500+ rpm to go with the #4 W31 valve heads, 9.6:1 compression, lunati 233/241 cam, 2600 stall and 3.73 gears. Curious what is out there in spread bore manifolds for the 800cfm Qjet.
Thank you for all replies.

........intake for short deck 350
I give up. I've been building these engines for a loooong time, but I'm not familiar with a "short deck 350" Olds engine. Could you please enlighten me? Thanks, Bob.

I hate to even reply, but sarcasm vs. sarcasm I guess. Its really analogous to someone saying there exists a small block olds and a big block olds. People do it all the time, is it right? No! That is chevy lingo. So, for Olds as everyone knows the lingo is short deck and tall deck. Examples of short deck are 307, 350, 403. Examples of the tall deck are 400, 425, 455.
Again, I hate to even reply. I'm 86 years old and a retired product engineer from BOP. My family is all BOP from my dad who was the original head controller of Olds until 1962 (John Ferdinand Ni-xxxxx) to myself retired in 1990 after 38 years of service to my 5 brothers; all Olds employees.
Again, hate to be pedantic; but I can be sarcastic with the best of them. I'm merely trying to figure out what nomenclature gets the least amount of sarcastic comments.
I guess that wasn't it.
Do you prefer small block olds? Or should we just say the BOP block with a 3.385 stroke and a 4.057 bore. Or maybe you are metric. My apologies 86mm x 103mm.

Engines 1964 - 1990
In the year 1964, Oldsmobile came out with a new small block (330 CID), and the next year a big block (400 and 425 CID). Over the years other displacements were added. The Olds 455 was a 1968 introduction, developed from the Olds 425 introduced in 1965, which was a tall-deck version of the 330 engine design introduced the previous year, both of which replaced the 394ci V-8, which was a development of the design introduced as the 1949 303ci "Rocket" V-8. Production of big blocks ceased in 1976, although some were used, not necessarily in cars, in the 1977 model year. Production of small blocks ceased in 1990.The big and small block engine types are almost identical, with the big block having a higher deck than the small block. The bore centers are the same, since the only differences between the small-block and big-block Olds blocks are the deck height (9.33" and 10.625", respectively) and the main journal size (2.5" and 3.0"; diesel 350 used BB size mains, however).
Many internal parts interchange, but it is best to keep the big block parts on the big block and the same for the small block.
