I am looking for a rearend for a 70 cutlass. Preferably a posi but wanting a good highway gear! 12 bolt is what I have now and want to stay with a 12 bolt!
preferably Florida area so I can pick it up local!

 

I have one in Maine .I can pull out of housing if wanted .

I am looking for the housing and everything and that way I can swap out for my 391 we are here to a good highway gear easily! Do you know what gear ratio is in it? They did crazy things with the housings back then so I do not know it’s just a pause the unit would fit the rear and I have!

What are you referring to? I have not seen "crazy things" with any of the O-Type housings, but I am interested to hear what you know about this.

 

Numbers on ring is 16A41 GM 00212 .
I think someone on this site told me it is a Highway Posi .
To ship whole carrier would be mega bucks , LET me know ??
