need chrome-plated valve covers for 1962 Starfire
These valve covers are really cool, but kind of pricey-

Summit racing sells the same valve covers for less money, but they are out of stock-

You could always find a stock set for close to $50 and have them re-chromed.

I actually have 2 sets of covers and would like to re chrome them, but I'm getting prices of $4-$600 to do the set. the motor is completely rebuilt and ready to go back in, but even the turn around on re chrome for most places is 6-8 weeks. I may end up just "biting the bullet" and having them done, and use my painted covers for now.
I know, I did have the bumper re chromed and it was about $700 , looks great, they did a great job, so I'm not sure why the valve covers were so expensive, I am going to go back to the owner as see if they missed something.
