Need a '68 442 passenger hood hinge
Pulled a bone head move on my '68 442. Had the hood hinges blasted and painted during the restoration. Forgot to lube them. I bent the passenger side hinge. I am assuming that once you bend them they are toast. Anyone out there that can help a brother out?
Does anyone manufacturer them?
Thanks!
Craig

I have a 68' as well.. as far as I know, nobody makes them anymore because they are one year only....
I do see them up for sale every now and then here on the classifieds and eBay...

For 68 98s and there appears to have been two different hinges used, and they are not interchangeable due to differences in the bolt patterns on the hood. Looks like one set was used for early production, and then the switch (around January 1st?) when they went to a hood with slots on the inner structure to encourage folding in a collision. Bolt patterns on the fenders were the same for early and late 68 98s.
Maybe this change occur on Cutlasses too and that is why they aren't reproduced.

Hello
99 % sure these were from a 68 442 I parted 30 years ago ....
kept em for my 68 GTO but now that I am doing that car they dont fit
my fenders bolt pattern ........
real snug rivets move smoothly and firm..springs should be great too
since they have been in the up position for so long..
8" and 13 " centers ....do these measurements this match yours ?
unless of course , you already found a pair...maybe you could still
tell me the center of the bolt holes on yours to confirm mine..
thanks alot
