[QUOTE=drolds442w30;1049830].....PS. How's Tina's car running?..../QUOTE]
After Doug passed away, she and Duran bought it from Doug's widow and promptly set the IHRA 1/8 mile national record with it. They then moved to CA and she won the Las Vegas Divisional Race. The last time that I spoke to him, he had rebuilt the engine and changed the rear gear ratio and managed to slow the car down. Now I see that she is running out of PA in Division One. I offered to send him the pics of when we completely rebuilt the car at my shop in 2001; but he said that he had made so many changes that it wouldn't matter anyway.
I have many fond memories of driving and flogging that car.

tri power PVC 001.JPG Sorry, there chevy
I ran a set of gold anodized Moroso stamped aluminum valve covers on a small block chevy back in the early 80s. Even using Corvair valve cover clamps they still leaked because the gasket surface flexed so much when torqued down. Not sure where you are getting your info but they did make them. That being said I don’t know why anyone would want them due to the poor sealing.

in your post you didn’t specify that they didn’t make them for Olds. Just that they didn’t make them which is why I posted my experience with them. The ones I had didn’t have breather holes or baffles. I had a set of Pfaff and Sowens breathers mounted to them (wish I still had the breathers).
They still make lots of things for Chevys that they Don’t make for Olds. Lol
