1962 f85 215 v8 oil dip stick
I have a NOS one on hand, as long as your F-85 doesn't have air conditioning. Let me know if you are interested and I can send you more information about the part. Email works best for me over PMs.
Thanks, Olmanwinter

Ok
This car came with factory air. Does that change the length of the dip stick?
I couldn’t find the original dip stick length anywhere. Changed the oil for the first time this weekend and the book says 4 quarts, everything I find online says 4 quarts, and the dip stick actually says 4 quarts.
I put in 4 quarts oh high zinc Lucas hot rod oil and the dip stick shows 2 quarts low. It has been modified, the top of the dip stick is discolored and the end that sticks out is riveted to the bottom half.
can’t believe I didn’t screw up the engine, I added an extra quart earlier this year thinking it was low.

I am not sure how it changes the dipstick, but there is a separate one listed in the parts catalog for the Jetfire models and ones with air conditioning. Sorry that I won't be able to help you with that part.

The Jetfire and A/C dipstick is nearly impossible to find. I would suggest that if you have a stock oil pan that you just use what you have. Do an oil and filter change and add exactly 5 quarts. Run it for a few minutes and then check the oil. Make a new mark on the dip stick where it is at and that is the new full mark.
If you really wanted to you could just add 4 quarts and run it, then check the oil. Make a mark there and it will be the "add one quart" line. Then add the quart and check the oil again and make another mark for the full line.
