Magneto for 324

Anyone have a Joe Hunt on their shelf their not going to use? Yes, they are still made, just seeing if anyone has one.

That one he wants is for a 12 volt system, all 324's would be 12 volt
53 and earlier would be 6 volt and I think the distributor has a different bottom end on it also (could be wrong on that though ....Tedd

Thanks Eric, I spoke with Dan last night on this piece, no one services it anymore including Joe Hunt, they do service other vintage mallory pieces. The power pak (box piece) is the part in question. That one is untested, very cool piece.

I'm under the impression its a simple gear drive swap, Physically it should fit 303, 324, 371. Yes, its 6v so it wont work on the 324, 371

I didn't think parts would be that tough having played with those back in the 70/80's. I was wrong after looking around. I don't know if Nelson Specialties is worth a look to see if they can convert it to 12v, probably big$$$.
