Looking for TH-350 trans

After getting some good input from the group, I am looking to swap out my ST-300 with a TH-350. I have a 66 Sports Coupe with a 330/4 barrel. I have called the closest boneyard and he said they haven’t had one in 15 years. I went to a local trans shop and he said they have no cores and wouldn’t touch one if it was brought to him. They had 15 lifts and 7 techs. @%#!! I have a talented friend/mechanic and he said we could rebuild one if I could get my hands on one. Fatsco has the parts and rebuild book. Can anyone point me the way to a 3 speed tranny? My buddy has a TH-350 laying around but it has the Chevy bolt pattern. I don’t think I would happy with the conversion plate set up. Thanks for your help.

TH350's should be common, at least they are in my part of the country. Check with Scott Winn, he is in Indiana and has access to a lot of Oldsmobile parts.

I have a few "switch pitch" T-400 transmissions, which were used from '65-'67 in Oldsmobiles. I'm quite sure that your current throttle linkage and electrical switch at the firewall will work with one of these. If interested, email me direct to discuss: drolds1@bellsouth.net. Thanks, Bob.

Do you have the torque converter and fill tube/ dip stick with it? What are you looking to get for it?

Converter is with it, tube and dipstick I have to look . I did replace my tube and stick just not sure if I kept the old one. $50 you can take it. Its just sitting in the garage so I would just as soon see someone use it.

That would be great! I live in Lowell, Indiana. I can come by when it is convenient for you. Do you know how many miles are on the TH-350?
