You can fit just about any 3 3/8" diameter tach in the clock opening. I have a Sun Super Tach II in mine and there have been a lot of posts with pictures of others who have similar setups.

Here's one posted by RetroRanger that shows how clean it can look:

Here is one that I have and I tested it recently (it works). May be a bit small for your tastes but the price is right.....$35+ shipping.

Sun Mini Tach fitted into a factory clock "blank".

Thanks Ken....looks like my camera lens could use a clean too lol.

That looks good as well Patton, obviously not factory but a serviceable part.

To the op that cl tach looks like the one sold on eBay and Opgi. While it looks nice and similar to factory I have read it's not accurate, which would be my real reason for getting a tach

The sun techs are inexpensive and work well if you go that route.

His claim that it's a "factory tach" is either misguided, or a flat out lie.
It fits like it came from the factory due to the mounting, but it's most definitely aftermarket.

Unfortunately that one was sold a while ago. Trying to track down what kind that is.

tach for 1971 cutlass supreme

I have one very similar to what was posted (#4) above. The one on the left would work quite nicely in a clock "dummy" face. I believe that I still have some clock delete faces left, if you need one. I can also install the tach in the face if you like. Let me know. Thanks, Bob.

Looks like the Craigslist tach is for a 1970-1972 Buick Skylark.

Link one.

Link two.

The one on the craigslist add was made by GM Sports Salvage. That was their older style. Since then they have changed it slightly. This is their new style.

I did find that one, and actually have it bookmarked. $185 is steeper than I was hoping for, though. But I do think it looks great. I just didn't realize it would be so hard to find an original at a better price. I appreciate everyone's help.
