I am looking for a speedometer cable for a 1962 Cutlass with an aluminum 215 CID V8 and automatic 3speed Roto trans.

 

I have one but will need to check the condition. Shoot me a PM so that I am reminded this weekend to pull it out of the parts car and inspect it.

 

I had time to pull it tonight. It works perfect. It does have some cracks in the outer housing near the transmission end but it is not rusted inside at all. I would do $25 and shipping for it.

I have the bezel also but not sure condition. I am going out this morning to pull some other parts so I will get pictures of it also while I am out there. I can do Pay Pal or check. Let me get pictures of the bezel first.

 

Here are pictures of the passenger side headlight bezel. I would need rechromed for a show car but is fine for a driver. Minor pitting but nothing serious. I would want $30 for the bezel and shipping. If you want this and the cable both I would do $67 shipped to your door.

The reason I ask is that This 62 convertible is my wife's car and I'm trying to fix up the things that are lacking. Our steering wheel is cracked and warped would the one in your vehicle be in better shape? The headlight mounting frames that are behind the headlights are very rusted and were from another vehicle, might you have these ? both passenger and drivers side? I guess I am looking for quite a few parts. How is the gas tank? Ours was rusted so bad and at the time we could not find another so I put a new 78 ElCamino in but it sits a bit too low

 

No gas tanks but I do have the headlight bucket assemblies. None of my interior parts are good on the 62. I have a 63 parts car that has red driver quality interior at best but is not the same pattern as 62. I will check on the headlight assemblies.
