Looking for a distributor for a 1961 Oldsmobile 394, I believe 1959-1964 394 units are interchangeable, but I'm not positive. I would bet there are some early Olds V8 guys on here that will know for sure...

Anyway, I need to do some custom stuff to one of these distributors, but I don't want to pull the one I have in the car to do the fabrication. I would like to keep my car in running condition while I mess around with another distributor.

I have found many websites say they have remanufactured units for a 394, but when you check the application table it starts to list 442's with 455's and Cutlass's with 350's, so I don't think they know what a 394 even is...

Yes, all 59 thru 64 371 & 394 distributors will interchange .
