Looking for more Screws

I am looking for the screws that hold the Steering Column/Clutch Rod firewall plate to the firewall on my 66 Project. There are 7 in total, 5 are hex head screws, and 2 are captive washer hex head screws. The head is 5/16" by 1/2" long. I have attached a pic.

The fasteners used on '67 and later Cutlass, etc are 1/4" coarse thread screws. Head size is 3/8" (where the socket or wrench is used).

I have this set from a '67 Cutlass and it consists of 5 screws with the large captive flat washers (these hold each half of the plates to the firewall) and a couple more screws that hold the spotweld-attached "rings" to the column shaft. Looks like there's also an extra screw in there.

All in very nice condition and have been beadblasted to bare metal and black phospate plated like the originals. They appear glossy in the pic but that's just an oil the plater puts on the fasteners after the plating. Wash them in lacquer thinner to remove the oil and you'll have the bare phosphate finish. Heads on the captive washer screws are the anchor marking and the other regular screws are marked "E". These are originals....I pulled them from the '67 floor shift auto car. I also have the two piece firewall plate here from the car.

Maybe '66's were different.....or whatever vendor you got the info/pic from may be wrong on their bolt count.

$20 + shipping for the set. PM if you have interest.

There is a difference in the parts used between manual and auto, as well as a diff between 66 & 67. Pretty sure I need what is in my first post (also, what is in my 66 Track Pack car)

Yes master, grasshopper has tried the usuals. One of our vendors carries them, but with shipping & handling, they are over $25.00. Seems outrageous for 7 little screws.

A surprising good source for automotive fasteners at a fair price believe it or not is Lowe's. Look in the hardware department they have a nice selection of them.

I will second lemoldsnut's Lowe's reference. Mine has a hardware section with lots of drawers, and one set of drwers are marked as "Automotive" where I have found my missing screws and bolts with pretty good success.

When I go in to Lowe's it's like Norm walking in to Cheers..........
I have checked there also, and my Lowe's does not carry the size I need.
