Anyone have a junk / rusty 66 hood that you could cut a patch panel out of?
I need a 14" x 14" piece from the drivers side front.
Trying to save an otherwise good hood that got smashed.

How soon are you looking for this piece?

 

not in a hurry , if I could get something by the end of April / first of May that would be ok.

 

I got a 67 hood, but no 66s. Also, you're about as far away from me as you can be in this state.

 

I would have to check an old hood I have. Can you show a pic of exactly what you want? My old hood had some rot so want to be cautious.

thanks for the heads up but a 67 hood won't look right on a 66

 

I don't know 66 vs 67, his add had 66 , so I thought hey!

 

I can check I might have one to cut up. 67 will not fit a 66. Very different at the front 4-6 inches. fender extensions different length and hood latch and core support very different as well as the area above the headlights
