Help! Need G-body rear control arm bolts
#2
If one snapped, was it overtorqued or tightened with an impact gun in the past? If so, al may be subject to failure and should be replaced. If you use non-stock bolts, be sure they are the same or higher grade (10.9 or 12.9 is probably stock--look at the heads.)

Thanks guys. The one that snapped was over-torqued upon removal haha. My torque wrench is longer than my breaker bar, and one nut was so tight I had to use it. It was clicking when I had it set to 120 ft/lbs, so I upped it to 150. It only clicked one more time, when the nut snapped clean off. I did check the hardware store, they had shorter bolts and non-locking nuts, but I'd prefer to use OEM stuff. I found GM may still carry them, PN 11502603 for the bolts and PN 11516073 for the nuts.
