i need help, i sent my 442 tach out to get fixed and the mail lost my orignal tach for my 442, i wont put a repop in it anyone have a orignal tach they can spare for a broken heart, lucky i insured the box for $1000 so if i can get one i would pay up to that for a decent orignal thanks

Damn Frank that sucks! Its going to take a while to recoup the $ from ups. I went through a claim a few months ago and it was a pain in the butt! You'll have to show them proof of what it costs to replace before they'll send you a check, and it takes a couple of months to go through the process and collect. Good luck though! i had a bad feeling about sending it out, its been 2 weeks already and they want a grace time to see if it turns up at the terminal, it was in perfect shape just shorted out on the blower relay braided line, thanks tony, i feel sick about the hole in my dash knowing it might be laying on the highway someware flat as a pancake

thanks for the luck good people on this site i have hopes someone will know something, it kinda feels like this, " watching someone get in your car and smashing a hammer threw your tach and your hands are tied ,, at least thats how i feel about this
