WTB 68 console lid latch

WTB 68 console lid latch

I got stupid and forced open my console lid and broke the pot metal key lock latch. So, now I need one.

Hi Steve
I'm guessing this is an automatic floor shift console as they're more common. But to clarify would you let us know if your needing it for the auto or manual transmission console? John

My olds is an auto. I did not realize the console latch was different. I guess I did see where the 4 speed console is a completely different looking rascal.

if you find a new lock let me know. im in the same boat. need to find a replacement for my auto console.

I used a glovebox latch and took both the old lock and the new one to a lock smith who used the latch from the glovebox and put it on the console lock
