Heater/ AC control face plates - damaged

I'm trying to restore a lightly damaged aluminum heater faceplate in my car, and I'd rather not experiment on the one I have, since it's kind of rare and they don't make quality repros... I'm looking for some old, scratched up faceplates that maybe you were going to throw away )) Let me know what you have, please! Bent is ok as well. I would also entertain input from anyone who has done this kind of restoration - how you did it, etc. Thanks!

Heater/ AC control face plates - damaged

I take it that it's for a '70, correct?

Ahh, yes... my bad. Anything from the '70-'72 models is what I'm looking for. Thanks for catching that

Buy my NOS one....it will make your dash 1000x better.

BTW - the repops are not good and do not have the raised chrome on them.

It will never look good, as the finish is almost impossible to duplicate.

$100 + USPS shipping.

Hard to find!

I think your NOS one is for a car with A/C...? I only have the heater control with defogger. I have the correct applique', but it has a couple digs in it. I'm pretty sure I can repair it, but I want to experiment on some others before I work on the original piece! They are hard to find, if not impossible, I agree....

Still looking for whatever you might have. I'm not expecting these for free, just reasonable Any face plate/applique' that you've removed and replaced - I don't need the part that bolts to the dash or any of the inner workings. Thanks!
