Thats not too far but too far for me but thanks anyway. I found one out here (powder coated black) for 1k but it too much for me i think. Id rather a frame thats og or spray painted; easier ro see the metal.

Thats alot closer and thanks for sharing the link but the cost of gas/shipping would be a lot.

This hobby is not for the faint of heart. Cars are money pits. Have you priced out shipping? It might be less than you think, especially if you find a frame that is what you want.
Good luck with your search

Shipping hovers around 2k, Im looking for something local for under 1k (hopefully). Ive found pretty much complete A body cars for about 1k. Im afraid of going that route and finding unforseen frame damage...

Its always nice to see something in person, but I've shipped frames across the country for much less than 1k. If you want to stay local then watch Craigslist close. If you do end up having something shipped ask for lots of pictures. You might contact the people who've offered one and ask what the total cost would be for purchase plus ship. U-ship and Fastenal can give shipping quotes online. If they can get an estimate and add that to their purchase price you can evaluate if its worth your while or not. John

John is right. I would sell the frame from the 70 I have for $600 and you could drive up here for a couple of hundred and bring it home on a pick up or on a uhaul trailer.

I bet fastenal would ship it for about $250 as well. Still under your $1000.
