ON the late 50's cars ( at least) that have steel fan shrouds, attachments are via tabs/clips that are attached to the sides of the radiator. I assume the tabs are soldered, but perhaps just mechanically clipped.

I'm in need of those clips......or a p/n for them at least in the hopes I can find drawing information and recreate them.

I have to assume they were used across many GM cars of the day.......

Any advice guys?

(My car is a '58 - and that year apparently had the shrouds only on cars with A/C......

Maybe any of you out there have a 57 or 58 with fan shroud that could photo what the attachment clips look like? I will try to fabricate my own, but a pattern would be really nice. Thanks all.

Clip PN 570257. I saw a '57 or 8 Buick at the drive-in a few years ago with out A/C and it did have a shroud. The clip is probably a push on speed nut type of thingy.
