Fan shroud clearance issue

Fan shroud clearance issue
I have a 69 cutlass that is finally being put back together after a front end collision several months ago. The fan shroud that was on it was cracked so i had to buy a new one. The new one is too small and the fan scrapes. I have no idea what year the old fan shroud was, but it was obviously bigger. The engine is a 403 with stock fan and the radiator is a 4 core. Ive been told that 71-72 fan shrouds are slightly bigger and might work. Can anyone give me the dimensions on one of them?
