The only dual 4 manifold that I have seen recently is an offenhauser. My buddy has one on his 425 in a 1968 442 with edelbrock carbs

There have only been three dual quad intakes ever made commercially for the big block Olds motor, not counting tunnel rams. My personal preference is the Edelbrock, which unfortunately has been out of production for decades. They show up regularly on ebay. The E-brock is a dual plane intake and works really well on the street.

Offy makes two different ones, the 360 and 180. The 360 is a very flat single plane intake with no contouring of the runners at all. They are best used as the basis for a supercharger manifold - BDS mills the carb flanges flat and welds on an aluminum plate to mount the blower. The 180 is possibly the goofiest intake ever conceived. It is basically the 360 casting with a vertical wall running down the middle of the plenum. The RH side of the carbs feed the RH cylinders and the LH side feed the LH cylinders. This runs counter to conventional dual plane manifold design where each side of the carb feeds alternating cylinders in the firing order. It should tell you something that in half a century, no other manufacturer has ever produced a manifold like that.

If Bob doesn’t purchase your intake, I’m interested in buying it.

Curious if anyone knows what 065 stands for, have this same intake purchased with my ;65 August built 442 in '75. Intake was in the trunk and I always wondered if this was Olds preview for the tri power intake in '66.

Appreciate the offer Rick ....

My earlier response is to coldwar for his Edelbrock O65 intake if Bob Provost doesn’t buy it.

Thanks, Mark

Hi Rick, Got a shot at a tri-power manifold. Have to wait to see if it comes about. Thanks for the reply. Have a good year cruising.

Here’s a listing of early Edelbrock intake manifolds that are obsolete. You’ll see the O65 listed under Oldsmobile. ‘O’ simply indicated Oldsmobile.

It's just Edelbrock's designation and has nothing to do with Oldsmobile.

That's just one of the single plane Offy manifolds. They were made in both square bore and spread bore versions. They also came in both low-rise and high-rise versions (not to be confused with the Offy tunnel ram).

I guess it would be a good candidate for a blower manifold conversion....
