You can look in the salvage yards at any GM B/C body from 1977-1984. This includes the Delta 88, Chevy Impala/Caprice, Buick Electra and Cadillac DeVille. Don't forget to look for wagons too.

Doors for 84 98

You might want to mention your location and budget for the doors. If you are on the east coast and don't want rusty doors, you might want to find some out west. Shipping costs will cut into your budget. I had a 84 98 and loved the car. I had a four door. You say "driver side doorS", so I figure you also had a four door, please confirm. Of course a photo of your car won't hurt. You might get lucky and find someone on the site with the right color! Regards, Trent in Los Angeles

This is not correct. First, while the four door Ninety Eight uses the same FRONT doors as a Delta 88, the back doors and two-door doors are unique to the Ninety Eights. Second, the 1977-79 cars have a different feature line than do the 1980-84 cars. Third, wagons and non-Oldsmobile sedans are NOT donors. The B-body wagons all use the Chevy sheet metal from the firewall back, which does not have the feature line used on the Olds sedans. Sedans from the other divisions definitely have different feature lines and do not work.

Hi Joe: You have provided excellent details as usual, thank you. It is amazing the amount of shared parts GM used and still provided a different styled car for the different divisions. The 80-84 98's shared part of the rear doors with the Cadillac sedans. The rear door frames were the same as the Cadillac sedans. However, it is complicated because the skins are different and the whole handle mechanisms are different which change the internals as well. Cadillacs have the older traditional handle with a push button. Olds have the lift handle to open the doors. So they don't interchange for sure. The shame is now that we have less divisions, GM can't amortize the costs over more divisions so GM's costs are more in line with other manufactures. Plus future collectors have less interchangeable parts than we do now. Hope the OP will check this site and provide his - her location for further help. Regards, Trent in Los Angeles
