Carb wanted

Looking for a 1969 442 W-30 carburator. # 7029254. The one that came with the car years ago that I thought was the original, turns out to be a 1969 buick with a olds base.

carb wanted

Check out these: oldsparts.com/page24.htm or
thepartsplaceinc.com/ocatalog/part.asp?VIC=48CatID=158YearList=1969

Be prepared, I bought a fully restored and rebuilt 7029254 carburetor about 6 or 7 years ago and paid $950.00! They are hard to find but they are out there.

Ouch! I didn't know they were bringing that kind of money,Hopefully I can locate one alittle more reasonable. But then again look at the price a good 1969 4 sp. console brings today. LOL. I just bought one. Thanks for the info. I will look into them as an option.

Hi, Who are you and where are you from and where is your store?? I noticed this is you first post and you joined sept. 17. I can understand we all stared with the first post but..... After I send you my phone #, you called me from a privite caller phone and are very hard to understand with a very thick asia accent?? Not that thats a problem, just that every thing seems to be in a rush. Your price at 250.00 and 280.00 shipped seems way under priced from what I'm seeing?? You told me the #'s are very good on carb. what ever that means and thats it. You also keep saying on the phone and in your emails that " you are a very busy man " and go on to say for me to send you my address so you can start making arrangments with a shipping agent? The pics. you sent me are of a different carb. one was a Holly ??? Then this morning you call me at 7:00 am. makes me wonder where are you located or was that just bad judgement. Help me out guys what do you think am I over thinking this with concern or am I not seeing a good deal

In all fairness to this guy from Nigeria I think its time for me to take up a collection of W30 parts to send to him. Please PM me with all your extra W30 parts and I will make sure they get shipped to him safely - I will even cover shipping costs.

Thanks again Tom and Tony for info. on carbjunkies, I received my carb. the end of october witch was what they said about 3 week wait. They where great to deal with, honest and resonable.I paid $600.00 for carb and rebuild, witch I think is a good price compared to what I was seeing. The carb looks like new and runs perfectly with minimual adjustment!! I included a few pictures of it installed. The company is a family owened busness by Jim And Melissa. After talking to Melissa I told her I was going to post a update on my carb and her company on our site. She said thanks and if any one else needed a carb, That if they mentioned my name she would give them free shipping or some kind of discount, What ever she could due. Hopefuly that can help some one. So thanks again to all that responded and helped me. PS I,m still waiting on the SS1 wheels I ordered from McWheels in Iowa, I will post pics. when I get them. Michael

I'm glad everything worked out well. That's a great price for that carb. Wish I would have known about them when I was looking for mine. Good Luck.
