Camshaft

Looking for a stick that needs no stall and is already broken in with the lifters.will be going in a 455. Want to start driving my car a lot more. Lift in the .460 to .480 range. LSA110 to 112. No rollers. Prefer a flat tapper hydraulic. Looking for just a good daily driver camshaft. thanx for reading.

My understanding is lifters can be re-used only in the block and bores where they were initially broken in. For a used cam in a different block, new lifters are needed. And EVERY torque converter has a stall speed rating, so you need to determine what stall the converter you are using has in order to match the cam to its stall speed.

No stall = manual transmission.

Call Ken at Oregon Camshaft and tell him to send you an 859 cam.

Not everyone on this forum is well versed in camshaft terminology. Just trying to not confuse anyone. No harm intended.
