Looking for a set of 1967 ‘C’ heads

 

Do they have to be 67 stamping because c heads were built 67- 68-69. I have a couple sets

I have a set of 67 442 heads with the V######G stamping. No AIR, has the plugs. Located in south ,AL. $300 + shipping. Anything else for a 67? George

No, I haven't. I have a 67 442(avatar), these were spares that I picked up 15 years ago. To my untrained eye they look like they would be ok. But I'd have new guides, and a valve job done and new seals if I were to use them for my car. I'd probably upgrade to adjustable roller tip rockers and new springs, etc. Wish I could say I had them checked for cracks and magnafluxed, but I haven't. Large valve C heads go for $200-$250. Off a 442 with the VxxxxxG serial numbers, they ought to be worth $300. I think I have the stock springs, rockers and, saddles if you wanted them. Valves look good to me. If not I'll hold on to them.
