Boxed control arms

I'm fishing to see what pops up. I'm at a point where I need to replace my bushings (clunk, squeak) and I'd rather not have the car down for a long period if there is a problem getting the old bushings out. I have an extra set of uppers, but the extra lowers I have are standard arms and I need to have boxed lowers.

Anyone have a set, and how much are you willing to part with them for?

Thanks

There is a weld in kit to box your lower control arms. Probably cheaper than buying the arms.

I find National Parts Depot pretty cheap to buy from. The way their online catalog is set up I can't post a direct link. The part # is C-5382-130A, it is located on page 55 of their Chevelle catalog. $39.95.
I have used these and they work great, in fact there is a set in my shop now that I haven't welded in a set of arms yet.

Good luck

I had bought a set of boxed arms for 130 bucks shipped from a Chevelle parts store. After factoring in the price of 4 quality bushings, labor for bushing pressing, the boxing kit, labor for welding the box kit in, stripping and painting, they were a bargain. They fit perfectly too - rare for repro stuff!
Unfortunately, the store I got them from no longer carries them it seems.

I decided to bite the bullet and get new arms all the way around. I already have boxed arms because I have a 442, BUT the car came out here with me from Chicago and I'm worried that there could be an issue when swapping the bushings. I just wanted a second set so I could just swap in new bushings and go and not worry about something breaking on the originals.

I ordered the uppers and lowers with urethane bushings and new bolts along with a new sway bar from Year One. They had a promo this weekend so I went with it.
