Blower motor switch

I need a blower motor switch for a '65 Dynamic 88. Orig was an INDAK brand, rotary, 4 posn, 5 lug switch that is no longer produced. Anybody know where to get a replacement?

Might try John @ The Parts Place, or he'll steer you in the right direction.

Here's yer original Olds part #s:

Grp 8.852, p/n 380138: 63-66 except F85, Jetstar 88 or airconditioning, switch, fan. This one is for heater only car and can come from any 88, 98 or Starfire except the Jetstar 88.

Grp 8.852 or 9.275, p/n 394558: 64-66 manual control airconditioning except F85 or Toronado, switch, fan. This one is for any B or C body factory air car (with four blower speeds I think yours is).

The control head is a good deal. You not only get the blower switch, but the master switch (that turns the whole thing on in all positions but OFF and VENT) and the compressor engage switch (that actuates the compressor in NORMAL and RECIRC). Plus a spare vacuum selector switch though it may or may not be good after 47 years.

Just an fyi: Indak will rebuild your old fan speed switches if you know who to go through. I had the Indak fan speed switch rebuilt at Indak on my '69 442. A couple of guys in the shop in Chicago are cars guys and looked up the actual blueprints for my switch and rebuilt it to original. They didn't charge me a penny. Awesome company.

Shoot me an email and I will tell you who helped me with my switch.

You may or you may not get feedback on this thread since it's quite old. At any rate you'll get the hang of it. I responded to your other thread for a blower switch here:

Hi Stanley, this post is from 2012 so the part may be long gone. But Eric is still active here so you may luck out. I would encourage you to create your own parts wanted thread which would increase your chance of finding someone here today that has what you need. If you need help with that let us know. John
