I have a friend in search of one "B" cylinder head from a '66 Toronado 425 CI, with California AIR emission tubes. The casting # is 389395. The owner wants to keep the car all original. He has one cracked head, but if correct castings need to be purchased as a pair, that is OK. The shop is located in Northern Illinois. I'm not 100% sure all B's are same casting number and I don't much trust 442.com FAQ, but...


All B heads have bosses cast in for AIR tubes so if he can't find an original smog pump head, it's just a matter of drilling and tapping the bosses for the tubes.
