I finally found a set of D heads at a price I could afford. The reason for that price is that one of the heads is cracked. I'm exploring the possibility of finding someone to weld it and see if it can be fixed. But also wanted to check here and see if someone has a single they'd be willing to sell. Kinda a bummer on the cracked head in many ways. They are a matched set with casting dates of 132.

Yes, that means I won't be buying his single head! I've had a 1969 W30 for 15+ years now. I talked with an owner from the early 1980's when it had the correct drivetrain so I know its real. Sadly the engine/transmission/rear end all been damaged and swapped out before I got it. But just for fun I've been collecting the correct parts and am pretty excited at finally having some D heads. I'll just have to see if I can come up with a good single or have the cracked one fixed if that's possible.
